rmEpisode 4/5: Goofy. Not really my thing. A few interesting twists. Some nice acting. Glad they addressed the repercussions of Rose running off.
Episode 6: I am not an old Who fan, so I came at it like Rose, not knowing particularly what the fuck a Dalek actually was. Amazing, compelling episode, great acting, some funny writing hidden in it.

Date: 2008-04-18 01:30 am (UTC)(Daleks didn't scare me when I was a kid - at least, not so I remember... but I have nightmares about them now, on occasion. I don't think I want to contemplate that notion too closely... ;))
(edit) PS. "Dalek" is based off one of the Doctor Who audio plays (by the same writer) called "Jubilee" (although for the 6th Doctor) which is ALL SORTS of wrong, for various reasons. It's brilliant, but also rather twisted/silly. Case in point: a horde of faux Daleks singing their chipper little Dalek Song. And you *still* feel sorry for the damn thing...
