LJ Advisory Board: can you help with community access?

Do you run an LJ community that has been or could be directly affected by unclear TOS on freedom of speech issues (think: political, religious, abuse survivors, creative, academic, fannish, queer, kink, poly, adult lifestyle)?

Do you run an LJ community that has been or could be affected by sloppy attempts on LJ/SUPs part to massage LJ's image (think: mental health/illness, abuse survivors, fannish, queer, kink, poly, adult lifestyle)?

Do you run an LJ community whose users have accessibility issues with the site (those with vision impairments, etc.)?

Do you run a community on any topic whatsoever whose users would be interested in discussion the LJ Advisory Board elections?

If so, I'd like the opportunity to hear the concerns of your users and talk a bit about where I stand on those issues. I promise to make only a single post to talk about the election (unless invited to do otherwise) and my candidacy and not spam the community or its users in any way.

If you'd be willing to let me post in those communities please let me know here or email me at racheline @ gmail dot com. If you're not a community maintainer, but have ties to a community maintainer and want to broach this issue with them, I'd appreciate it.

I said "jameth and his crew". rfjason is clearly part of his 'crew'. All the facts are straight. Your response is typical 'cherry picking'.

BTW Is jameth prepared to publicly disown him?

Are rfjason's activities on craigslist some how related to jameth's election to the LJ Advisory Board? Or are you just trolling again?

What speaks of jameth's character is that he has not, to my knowledge, trolled. He has pointed out online drama and stupidity for others to check out, but he has not started the drama. Unlike you and some of rm's supports calling out jameth by name and accrediting him with actions he did not take, which resulted in responses by his supporters.

He also has a Poli-Sci (early misreported as a law degree) degree and is a tireless support of civil rights. On top of that he actively volunteers in his community. To ensure a political voice for all, he is a field election deputy at polling places during elections. He is regularly present at city council meetings to help ensure fairness and quality of life in his community. And he counsels those who have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.

While you sit here and mud sling, why don't you also ponder what you do for your community and see if your character measures up. Or rm for that matter. What examples of civil service can you or they show? jameth has already gone toe-to-toe with LJ Abuse on many occasions to fight for Freedom of Speech. He has taken action and held their feet to the fire.

What have you done, except sit at your computer and bitch and moan incessantly about other people having a voice you disagree with? I'd hold jameth's character up to any other entry in this contest, and even against the sore losers that drop out early.

Yes, he might point out peoples stupidity, but he respects their right to be stupid and doesn't ask them to stop.

How does your candidate measure up?
