I'm really liking this. I've been a bit anti-Forties looks because there have been way too many precious, girly, perfect, not a hair out of place or a lipstick smudge, sorts of these girls in the swing scene (and creeping into goth and otherwhere) lately, and so I was right off the style. I don't do plastic perfect.

But there's a huge difference between a Forties girl who looks more like a Forties mannikin, and Rosie the Riveter or a WAC - which is my Forties ideal. And you've hit that rivet on the head with this look, and it's fabulous.
