Among my fabulous parting gifts now that I have returned home from Dragon*Con is a Totally Brilliant Idea for a (god help me) non-fantasy Chick LIt novel that I am uniquely qualified to write. Um. This is the last sort of project I've ever wanted. But it's Right Here. I think I want you guys to talk me out of this, but I think once I explain it you'd egg me on.

Being back here in NYC is great. I felt like a small and incompetent fish in a very big pond at D*C, but I live in the biggest pond of all, and I do all right here. Everything else is a learning experience. And a chick lit novel. Apparently.

invisible_lift? AWESOME. Very nice to meet lots of other people too, including rusty_halo who has my love forever for her "VOTE SAXON" pin.

Someone has a "Vote Saxon" pin! I am so jealous, I might need to get one of those for myself. I've been dancing around the apartment to "Voodoo Child" all weekend in honor of my friends at Dragon*Con.
I'm glad you made it home in one piece and I look forward to more of your D*C stories (including the chick lit book idea).
