rmCan I just say how frightening I find the Republican convention?
Open religious hatred and chants of "USA" that sound angry rather than proud. I am sincerely, sincerely, completely creeped the fuck out by this. I wish I didn't think it sounded high strung when I say I feel unsafe listening to this shit.

Date: 2008-09-04 03:40 am (UTC)I found that I could tone down my fear of anti-semitism by outsourcing it. I don't have to be hypervigilant because there are plenty of other people keeping track. They'll tell me if things start to go bad.
