election follies, part 2

If this is true (and it's looking authentic), we've now left the solar system.

Short version: Palin uses Yahoo account to evade gov't transparency laws; email account then gets hacked and contents are posted to the Internet. Account is then deleted, possibly by Palin, possibly violating more law in the process.

Thank you!

Y'know. I'm shocked by the number of times the phrase "God bless 4chan" has come out of my mouth.

I think this election is making us all more religious.

I read about her using a yahoo account but I didn't hear the hacking and deleting bit.

Not that having email on government servers stopped the bush krewe from "accidentally" deleting a huge chunk of emails which just by mere chance happened to include the ones that congress wanted to subpoena (for their investigation into the politicization of the justice department hiring process if I'm remembering correctly).

After Nixon's 18 1/2 minutes of silence you'd think people would have learned having the tapes means you can destroy them.

Did you notice that in one of the screen shots of the email list she has a message from someone named "Remus"?

Yes! I saw that. :giggles:

But I think it was spam.

The one e-mail referencing wanting someone opposed to "the life issue" sends a cold chill down my spine.

It has always been assumed that in the Star Trek Universe, knowledge of the Early Space age Earth culture was sketchy due to WWIII. We now know that it was due to the complete absence of public records dating from the Palin Presidency.

The part of my brain that used to work for a big internet company and handle legal and abuse cases involving stuff like this is running around the room screaming right now.

I have something to add!

Someone else on my f-list posted this article earlier today, thought you'd enjoy seeing it:

Wow.

I keep thinking this whole election season would fun if it weren't as serious as a heart attack.

Oh, wow. That is just. Wow.

TY, Anon.

I..just..wow. Thank you for sharing this insanity. The sheer ineptitude is amusing, if only it weren't so scary that people are actually considering giving her even more power.
