Also, I can't sit through the Barrowman single - for exactly the same reasons you're digging it. Too Jack Wagner-y for me. For whatever reason, I can only do overproduced if they've got punky 80s hair. I do, however, think it's a perfectly good genre for him to be doing music in. :)
