While The Art of Manliness is often hit or miss and often more fascinating for a look at how batshit insane our society is about gender, anyone who likes wearing men's clothes in a masculine way (as opposed to a "I'm a girl and I stole this from my boyfriend" way) would be well advised not to miss today's issue. It's common sense, if you're used to thinking about how clothes work, but the reality, of course, is that most people aren't.

In fact, this entire website is going to help me flesh out my characterization, though a lot of it reminds me of the advice my late grandfather would frequently give me when I was younger and he (in his dementia) mistook me for a boy.
