Jindal gave the Republic retort to Obama's speech on the news here (equal time and all that).

He's the governor of Louisiana and has been held up as the hope of the Republican party because he's young, previously considred to be not an idiot, and of color.

But his retor was so totally weird and just... what... invoking Katrina??!?!?!? No one even knows what to say.

It was like a very quiet and more confusing Republican version of the Dean Scream (tm).

I knew that he was the socially conservative Governor of Louisiana, but I had no idea that he'd be speaking nationally, and all I could think of off hand was Shrove Tuesday WTF???
I hope he just killed his political career, that would be nice.
