Hello, New People!
Wow!
Just to let everyone know, I'm on a very tight deadline for the end of the month while also trying to get the apartment in order for the return of my partner who has been on an archaeological dig for the last three months.
I will get everyone added back, respond to comments, etc., but it's probably going to take a bit of time.
In the meantime, if there's anything you'd like me to know about you or would like to know about me or you're looking for an excuse to chatter amongst yourselves on something other than ConFail, please feel free to use the comments in this post.

I'm a guest at Dragon*Con, so I'll be there, and I'm not sure what else we're doing this year (I'm trying not to schedule until my partner gets back, because we both have heavy travel schedules, and I don't want to load anything else into it without comparing notes properly), although there is a possibility of Balticon.
I know that for 2010 we'll probably go to World Fantasy because it's in my partner's home town, and that I'm already planning on GallifreyOne. And, truth be told, chances are I'll be Lunacon again, because it's just so local. I'd also like to get back to Arisia.

Acting. Things of note would be that I had a small role in Revolutionary Road and got to do the Lady in Macbeth when I was in Australia. "Big" NYC productions I've done would be Forget Me Not with PRAXIS that involved me waltzing with audience members while telling them secrets and then later helping them into coffins that were then wheeled out of the theater and a small role in a production of Counsellor-at-Law that got a lot of attention a few years back.

I definitely agree with her.
And I posted something similar to this, a few days back (http://the-ogre.livejournal.com/477331.html).

♥ the con pictures (okay, so I scrolled a bit XD) I don't know Torchwood (something that I apparently need to rectify) but the pictures were interesting and you looked very comfortable.
Plus, you have common sense and manners. That alone is worth friending.

Torchwood is awesome, but has tone variance problems -- I suspect Season 3 will be when it pulls itself together. The fist two seasons range from really exceptional, dramatic narratives about betrayal to OMG that guy's half-robot girlfriend just got sprayed with BBQ sauce and eaten by his lover's pet pteradactyl. I am not joking. It's a weird, weird show.

But the panel was a lot of fun, and you even managed to keep it more or less on topic!

Anyway, welcome!

Here is my latest hello new readers post which mostly covers stuff. I'm very bad at starting/joining conversations so I'm not sure how much we've actually talked at the DWNY meetings (I'm much better at speaking up online).

I'm very new to the world of livejournal and am currently building up an friends-list.
I've friended you because I want to keep track of your fics (+ the comments readers leave on them) and find your meta/general posts very interesting.

Friending is saner than chasing! Also, chasing is creepy.
