Ipod -- everything on it is GONE.

More specifically all it does is flash a circle with a line through it and say "do not disconnect," which I've never seen it do before.

Will it know to restore automatically when I get home? I sort of have to disconnect it from this computer here, as I can't restore on here? Do I have to go to Tekserve? Why does this happen?

ETA: Weird, I button mashed and now it's fine.

Mine has done this.

There is way to force a shut down of the Ipod, at least for my 30GB Video, by pressing the Menu and Middle at the same time until it turns off.

Yeah. The hidden 'reset' function. You probably reset it with your button mash and now it's okay. It was probably just hung. I mean, they're not hung, they're really quite small, but they do get hung up.
