Last night we went to see Richard III: An Arab Tragedy which was awesome and I will write about it later. We also ran into a ridiculous number of people we know.

OMFG the new Torchwood promo shot. I can't stop staring at it.

Have read all the spoilers for S3, ep 1. TW remains the only fandom where the show is actually crackier than the fanfic.

I love it when pictures tell a story. This one is a flipping novel. I just hope it's not a masterwork of misdirection as some of the promo photos have been.

But let me get simpler here: holy trinity. The angst is laid on with a trowel, yet it's not sticky. Um...yet :)

Ianto, as ever, being preoccupied with his own shit and everyone assuming he's fine and he can handle it, and maybe he can, but he sure doesn't think so.

And Jack putting duty (and his own ego) before most things, and as usual thinking he has to stop Gwen, from being, well, Gwen, while Gwen's all "sorry, distracted over here, because it's not actually about about you boys).

It says a lot about how they look at things, too. Ianto--inward, Jack-- head on, Gwen--idealistic this is the way the world should be, etc etc. That one doesn't mesh as well as the previous, and once again, except for Ianto, I think the trinity fits here too. Jeez, he comes off badly no matter how I splice it.
