I've learnt from my fandom of choice and how some of ours drank the kool aid and went around the bend that not all are idiots. For every one who is well spoken and beyond eye opening for all the right ways, there are those like the ones that make you go WTH who make you sort of tilt your head and go do I really want to start in that one, even when you have a favorite actor in the movie.

I know, and sadly those are frequently the loudest and the thing that gets the most attention. It's sad, too, because I've found this fandom is really full of love and lovely people. But I know when someone says "the water's great, come on in!" I'm unlikely to listen if I've just seen someone pee in the pool, so I getcha.

Don't get me wrong, from the moment that I heard Eric was coming in as a bad guy and once I got over the giggles at his elf ears, I was stoked to see this and then I got overtaken by the welsh teaboy and all the lovely accessories that came with him and forgot about ST.

Maybe once I get unboggled by everything, I'll come check out the fandom.
