Yeah, you can shut down the comments, but we can still tell the world you're a bigot who can't construct an argument. One advocates for not paying for you work, the other advocates for not reading it at all.

The first page is the worst. I think that was mostly a self-selected flist, but once it got out beyond that - yeah, there isn't a positive comment past those terrifying ones on the first page.
