I have that too. My parents owned an art gallery when I was a baby and are both exhibiting artists (among other things) so the creative professions have always been my world and this shit shocks me. Even my parents' own homophobia never looked like this.

What interests me is that I tried to follow the link, and it's blocked by our corporate proxy. That's the first LJ site I've encountered that is.

An hour ago, I clicked on fanfic that was one step shy of porn, got through no problem. Then again, from your comments, sounds like this is far more offensive. No wonder the corp proxy blocked it.

I do have to say I'm surprised as hell that he claims to be down on BDSM (and Gor in particular), since one of the things that made me fling the last one I read was the female POV character's insistence on interpreting her submission kink as universal to women.

I've never heard of this guy (seriously, is he real-famous or just LJ-famous?), but if his fiction is a fraction as sloppy, misguided, and thick-headed as his LiveJournal, I know I'm not missing much.

I also know I'm not going to change the guy's mind or have any effect on him so I'm not really bothering. (Although I did think it was interesting that he hasn't bothered responding to anybody who is responsibly and fact-basedly debunking him.)
