Yeah, you can shut down the comments, but we can still tell the world you're a bigot who can't construct an argument. One advocates for not paying for you work, the other advocates for not reading it at all.

I haven't noticed any slashers (yet) but in the realm defined by the original post, it's totally not improbable... since Ayn Rand did it too, right? (!!!)

This is mostly het people, but people I didn't realize wrote het out of hate as opposed to "that's just what they happen to ship."
