**smack** When he's gotten his degree, maybe we can stick him in ILL or maybe book restoration. Some place where he won't embarrass the patrons. (Not cataloguing you need an imagination and intelligence to do that and with those comments, he's shown he has neither.)
Not archives and not cataloguing, as I'm an archival cataloguer and I'm afraid I'd have to get out my rod of library tardiness (a 2 ft. long 2x2 a friend shaped into a club for me, painted with that name on it) and whack him with it too regularly.
Hmmmm...it's looking like it's microfiche for him. He'll fit right in with all the other outdated ideas! ;-p
Yeah and occasionally dealing with stupid patrons who fail to cite correctly or want a book where they tell us the wrong edition and we're supposed to be mind-readers so as we can get them the one they wanted not the one they wrote down......
