I'm fascinated that he thinks the relevant facts for brain structures are about how society values this activity, not about the experience of the people do it. But that sort of sums up all the fail right there, doesn't it? I mean, I was expecting the "men like lesbians, it must be the same thing when women like gay guys" thing, but even that reductive generalization is at least related to why women do it and not what other people think of it. I mean...really? What scientist thinks that most critical facts about any organism at all are how it looks to someone else?
