Apparently women and queers are ruining SF.

Torchwood gets a not insignificant amount of text, and, sadly, Dirk Benedict is referenced. If you're thinking this can't end well, you'd be right.

Maybe I'll actually pick it apart for your viewing pleasure later. But maybe I'll actually have something more useful to do instead, like ruining the genre with my homosexual girl-bits or the cock in my dresser drawer or something.

Tell me, SF-ruiners, what's on your agenda today?

My agenda? outlining a new SF novel that is all about racism, classism, paranoia and isolation. The lead is a bisexual woman. Half the characters are female, although not necessarily human. It's called UNCANNY VALLEY and is my Nanowrimo project.

I also have some really gritty horror on the table, with omnivorously sexual characters (the patriarch of the clan likes barely legal boys, but has sired at least 8 kids on a variety of women) heading off a vampire apocalypse led by Cain himself (yes, Eve's boy, but not Adam's). Sex, violence, gore gore and more gore.

Other that that?
Just my usual homobisexual agenda day:
get the kids to school
run laundry and make sure the husband has socks
shower
breakfast
watch a movie
crochet and watch another movie
Weight watchers
cook dinner
more laundry
more crochet
consult with my webmistress as to why the site is down
bed at 9 so I can get up at 3 AM for work.

I somehow forgot to list "Destroy a literary genre" on my to do. I'll catch it tomorrow after I park my rig.
