You can still help the fight for marriage equality in Maine. If you are a Maine resident, you need to vote. In fact, if there is a local election in your area today, please be sure to vote. These elections tend to have very low turn-out and its how extremists get weird referendums passed and anti-science people onto school boards. It's always good to vote.
What makes an American? Or, let's watch people be anti-immigrant racists about the guy who just won the New York City Marathon.
Also, not only was I at Terminus, I was at Terminus with a bad attitude and wandered around with redstapler and marchek cosplaying Jack to their Ten and Ianto. I had long hair then, so it was perhaps less effective, but OMG.
JESUS. YOU WERE ONE OF THE PEOPLE THE BAPTISTS COMPLAINED ABOUT.
I mostly hang with the snarry peeps when i go, because I don't know anyone else, though I try to go to panels and papers that I'm interested in.
Haahahahaa, I dunno. I'm doing D*C with the Foxay next year, and so that might be my big thing. Infinitus is in Orlando, and I have NO DESIRE to return to the land of hell. It's too soon for me.
I'm still waiting to hear on my Guest app, but I'm assuming we'll be back at D*C too. Infinitus I'm doing in truth because my publisher wants me to, but I'd like to get some of the HP mojo back.
Terminus: we got stuck in an elevator with TWIN stewardesses. I was dressed like Jack. redstapler was waving her sonic screwdriver around and then I blurt out "I can't tell you what I'm thinking right now."
I always give papers at HP cons, but I've never been a guest. I'm not important enough in a world with Melissa Anelli, and that's fine.
I've been a guest at D*C for the last two years, so I'm assuming that all will happen again for 2010, but until the contract's in hand, nothing is in stone.
Oh that's cool, I should have gone to that. I've become sort of an ass at cons I'm working and largely only get to the shit I'm on or shit people I know are on. Part of that, really, is that I'm more and more there to see my friends when I'm not working.
