Meanwhile, the problem with the Darla plotline is that I don't actually care about her, nor do I care about Angel's obsession with her. I do care about Wes and Cordelia having to put up with Angel's obsession with her, however.
I thought "The Trial" was extremely well done, but in the last test thought it got kind of obvious. Of course it was about accepting death to win life. Whether that was the right call (eventhough it worked) for Angel to make though is highly debatable. The tester wasn't wrong that Angel probably has a greater contribution to make and while a man can't decide who's life is more valuable, someone who is Leading a Team Against Evil -- well that's his fucking job, you know? But that all worked out.
EXCEPT IT DIDN'T! Holy crap, I thought Darla accepting the symmetry of her life and death was so lovely and then fucking Dru shows up! Holy crap.
Also: I hate Cordy's new haircut, but the Wolfram & Hart slimeball's new haircut is awesome sauce.
Finally: Why is David Boreanaz a better actor when he's playing Angel acting, than when he's just playing Angel?

Or maybe they will go to prison because they were not wanted and were not loved and the people they were born to mistreated them and turned them into monsters. Or maybe their little bodies will be found in a dumpster because someone who shouldn't have had them will have beaten them to death. This law and the others that are proposed, will bring back the butcher that gives abortions in a motel room with a coat hanger. It endangers women's lives and unconstitutionally invades the privacy of women. I am amazed at how many states are making laws that restrict women and minorities and we are not rioting in the streets. The women of OK should be out en masse picketing the lawmakers and demanding their rights back. In the meantime I am on a boycott of Oklahoma, it is one of the states I will never set foot i; nor will I spend a dime of my money there. I will also continue to support the ACLU so women can fight this kind of inequality.
