So I signed up for kink_bingo.

And this is my card:





There are only one or two things there that I'm so meh about I can't imagine writing them. It's not even that they're squicks, it's that I don't get it, at all. And there's really only one thing I'm disappointed isn't on there. So a good draw overall.

I'm also going to try to force myself to write multiple pairings and fandoms. I already have some Jack/Ianto ideas and a Gwen/Rhys idea and I should totally try to do a Lilah/Wesley fic since Patty's ALL about that.

Well, the center image is a wild card -- in any direction so you can do your missed kink there.

LOL - everything I learned about how to play bingo I learned from kink_bingo.

There's a whole bunch of ways to earn points (double lines, diagonal X fill, postage stamps etc) and I know you're fairly competative so that should add energy to the process.

I think the constant struggle for me with KB has been writing short. I can't do it.

The writing short thing worries me too. And I'm actually trying NOT to be competitive with this as I feel sort of randomly toxic lately and mostly this is a need to write fiction/sex/porn/fanfic/Torchwood etc thing, since I've been doing none of that lately other than looking at various half finished stories I've lying around here and there.

The community is very low pressure, encoraging and enthusiastic w/o being obnoxious or competative. It's a pleasure to participate in, even for me who is both completely non-competative and generally fails at meeting fannish deadlines.

Yeah I quashed my very momentary wonder about joining WIAD because I just... no. Any competitiveness is out for me. But there's a long time available for KB and I do love my kink so I figured I'd have a go this time.

Yup. It's one of the more challenging ones for me, but not impossible. (Tickling seems IMPOSSIBLE, because I hate being tickled).

When I did sex work I had tickle clients. And I still don't get it. I may eventually decide this is enough of a challenge that I'll decide to write it, but right now it's hard for me to fathom.

Sorry, coming in late to this discussion (now that I've signed up, I'm going back and checking out everyone's cards :P), but I'm actually wondering if that's the way you could approach such a fic -- have one partner totally not getting it, but doing it for the other partner because they like it?

Or alternatively, you could go with a softer interpretation of the prompt -- light tickling that doesn't cause fits of laughter, but still causes goosebumps, shuddering, etc.

It seems to be a hard-wiring thing. Some people hate tickling, some can't be tickled. If you are negative tickle response there's no way to get it.
Maybe there's story in that?
