Regardless of what you think about the prominence of marriage in LGBTQ activism in the US right now, this ruling will absolutely, positively determine the shape of the fight for a while as well as decide who has the momentum right now.

It's big, it's critical, and it's, quite frankly, bloody terrifying.

And it's happening tomorrow sometime between 1pm and 3pm PST.

Thanks. I suppose it makes sense that that is how it would play out, but it's frustrating that it should take so long and still have the potential margin for going wrong.

It's distressing, to be sure.

BUT! Once it goes to the USSC and the USSC strikes that abomination down, it's over. When the haters pipe up with their crying again, the USSC gets to say "What part of NO is beyond your grasp, dumbass? ALL citizens have the right to marry, whether you like it or not, so go lie down."

And that will be WONDERFUL.
