Vertical lettering = yuck. I would want this only if they can make the type run perpendicular to the ground.

Agree re the yuck of vertical lettering. I also want to know if it's possible to do lowercase as well as upper.

I suspect that lower case (and punctuation) would make the pinstripe look ragged. That might even be an issue with horizontal lettering, depending on the typeface.
