It was another rough week for me and [livejournal.com profile] novel_in_90 -- only a couple of thousand words got written, and part of me feels lame and embarassed and wants to give up, but I won't. I had a very productive week with work and various personal things, a lot of which in both categories was chaotic and kinda stressful. I feel good about the last week though -- on all fronts -- and I like the writing I did get done. So today I'll pick up again and see what happens. I also forced myself to sleep past 6, and I feel weird now, but lord, I think I needed that.

In other news, the Terminus proposal system needs to open so I can get this thing off my harddrive and resubmit the new and improved version of the improv class. Then I'll wait til the con is closer to submit fanfic and until I've read book 7 to work on the collaborators paper proposal.

I am tired. My hands and arms really hurt (a product of fencing, too many hours at the computer, lugging heavy shit around and so forth -- none of it's anything bad like carpal tunnel, but oh, overuse) and it's time to go to work shortly. Yay.

I've submitted the fictional history of duelling paper and the new and improved (and slightly shorter) improv workshop into the Terminus system. Fanfiction and colaboration proposals I'll do closer to the actual event.
So I have this part time media analysis gig and because I understand economics stuff I have read a lot of business publications for it that often have ads of the sort most of you probably never see, and aren't you glad? I shall demonstrate below.

Just now I stumbled on one with the headline:

"You better get a cracker 'cause you're gonna want to taste my option spread."

over a picture of a really smarmy looking guy.

No.
Just no.
