- I really need to let myself actually be engaging the Patty countdown.
- We are having tech fail -- she's having problems with her laptop, ipod and Nook. I meanwhile can't find my fucking iPod.

- RSVP'd for a bridal shower we were invited to. Have I mentioned this? We got the invite, and it's a friend of Patty's I've only met once, and I literally was like "wait, why am I invited, this is for girls?" And then I was like "Oh, I'm just confused again." I've never actually been to a bridal shower. I hear there are terrifying games involved.

Date: 2011-03-30 02:29 am (UTC)My personal favorite was the one for my dearest high school friend, who was getting married in India, and specifically asked us to plan something small, just for our little group, that would be our own thing - our way of celebrating the moment of transition with her, even though we wouldn't be able to be actually with her on the day. So we made the stupid practice bouquet, which she found both baffling and charming, and had tea and cake and sandwiches, and it was overall quite delightful.
