Despite having a lot of cranky lately about people NOT getting the the genderqueer, dresses!
Specifically, dresses from Trashy Diva, which I seem to buy specifically because they are such performative feminity I feel like it's TOTALLY okay for me to wear them and feel like I'm in drag, because how could dresses look like this and have that not be the point.
So, I am totally getting this: http://www.trashydiva.com/trashydiva/springrayon1/SADIESLAPANDTICKLE.jpg
I'm trying to decide if I should also get it in: http://www.trashydiva.com/trashydiva/olivine/sadieRUFFLEolivineFLORAL.html
Aren't they RIDICULOUS?

Date: 2011-05-07 07:46 pm (UTC)I slightly prefer the olive to the peach, but both are lovely retro prints. The ruffle is adorably absurd, but there'd be no point to me wearing it sitting down. Damn, just looking at their stuff is making me want to design jewelry to go with their dresses.
