two unrelated but quasi-pressing questions

I sent my taxes in on the afternoon the 15th. How long should I expect it to take for them to deposit my checks -- i.e., when should I worry they didn't get it? (added: I owed them money... I'm not looking ofr my refund, I want to make sure they got my payment).

If I were going to pull a directing resume out of my ass (I've actually been an AD on a couple of stage things), can anyone point me to a good format, or a tip on how to do one with little-no credits... it's nothing pressing, this is just something I want to try my hand at and I see an opportunity. (if I had enough hair, I'd hide behind it, but let's get real).

Actually a festival, no matter how wanky, is I think the best way you could start in on doing this. And while usually being surrounded by all women is kinda toxic, it might be nice to have the literal dicksizing far from you when you're figuring out how to do the thing.

Do they have a project for you already, or would they like assign you something?

They'd assign something, and yes, the last thing I'd need is to have some fucking boy stage manager up in my shit while trying to navigate this.
