But my workplace was an exception; despite the fact that the NYT would probably consider it a "career stepping" workplace, we were all a bunch of close friends, so boundary-stepping like that seemed to be okay. Apparently everyone had a big cryfest together when Kerry lost, too, except I was out of work that day.
