Hannibal Rising

I was really hoping this wasn't going to receive such interesting reviews, as I'm not so into gore, but was already leaning towards seeing it. Looks like I'm seeing it.

I'm one of the few people who liked Hannibal, the book more than the movie. (I honestly thought that the movie wimped out at the end, although I also had trouble seeing how it could do justice to the book. The shots of Florence were wonderful though) Red Dragon, not as much. When I heard about this, I picked up the book and thumbed through it and did not find myself reading 50 pages worth in the store as I did with Hannibal so I was prepared to write it off.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can now. So, it looks like it's off to the theater for me alone this weekend, as I'm quite certain lkell would rather do anything than watch this film.
