I am in that transitional moment where I am not quite motivated to leave one task so that I can go do the next task, which is in fact very easy.

Tomorrow I have to venture into parts of Brooklyn unknown for the cane class, about which I have my mild "things unknown" trepidation I have about pretty much everything, despite how I conduct myself. Not a big deal, but to get back to good ol' boring logistics and not my crazy head -- my personal level of planning for new subway excursions and the reality of the transit system here don't always mix. I should stop by the office on the way down (I'm actually going in on Sunday). I should also do laundry tonight (Hey, can anyone tell my why my fencing jacket which notes it is made from pre-shrunk cotton also says on the tag that I shouldn't tumble dry it? What will happen? Because ideally, I'd wash it tomorrow morning and then tumble dry it.)

All right. Now to Whole Foods for gluten-free pizza, drop off of stuff to various people and then home to watch DVDs and work on my own projects. Oh, speaking of DVDs, I swear to you, I spent ten minutes this morning watching the beginning of Marie Antoinette while lying in bed and eating French chocolate. Then I remembered that my life isn't quite _that_ fictional and employment called. But ah, it was pleasant.

pre-shrunk cotton is not 'never will shrink' cotton, i've found. it's the difference between having to buy your jeans a size or two large to make sure they fit after washing and having to wriggle into your correct size because it's a little smaller coming out of the dryer. i would not take my chances with a pricey garment. i hang-dry most of my cottons.
