You are a cruel, cruel person for pointing those out. I am now in utter and complete lust for that jacket. Gorgeous snakes, exquisite brocade on the cuffs, oh gods that is amazing. I am definitely hoping someone offers well-made replicas of that jacket. Although I can only see hints of it, the black shirt (or perhaps vest) underneath is also amazing. The only way that could be better was if the buttons were snake-like dragons with yellow-green eyes, but that's some of my own even odder eccentricities showing.

I think what you're looking at it the white shirt.
Followed by a this weave (probably linen, possibly wool) frock coat or 18th-century style vest (that is long and well below the waste). Over that is the outwer robe, which you see has that satin trim on the sleevves. Over that, seems to be something made out of somewhat "natural" (can still see tail-like structure) fur in the style of an academics robe, but only to create the fur drape -- I don't think its' a full garment, more like an outer vest thing, again long.

*nods* Upon considerably (near drooling ) close inspection, I can see that there are (I think) four garments (one white and 3 black) rather than three like I first assumed. You have an excellent eye for such details. So, your assumption is that the fur robe/drape is sleeveless? In that case, only the outer black robe (that is immediately underneath the fur robe) and the white shirt have long sleeves, and both the black vest immediately over the white shirt and the outermost fur robe are both sleeveless? Does that seem correct to you?
