where I stand now
May. 31st, 2007 03:49 pmMany of you know I was seriously unhappy with LJ's first apology. Their most recent news post indicates how vast a restoration of accounts they are doing, and I have to say, I'm a lot happier.
BUT, Six Apart/LJ still has a lot to do to make me calm down. These things include:
a) making things right with users who have been branded pedophiles across the Internet (free journal rename tokens and public apology listing all wronged journals at minimum).
b) retraction of the CEOs statements claiming the right and ability to evaluate of what is art and academic study.
c) restorion of
lolita07. Thank you!
d) answering questions about where gay users stand in light of the continued phrasing about banning journals that encourage illegal sexual activity.
e) an admission that they outright lied to users at the beginning saying this wasn't going on.
f) a better explanation of why this happened how and when.
