I love how you seem so comfortable in gent or fem clothes. It's rather hard for most people to pull that off.

Physically comfortable, sure. Emtnally comfortable....less so. It's funny in that my men's clothe slook more costumey to most people, but it's in women's clothes that I always feel costumed.

I totally get that. I just cannot wear girly stuff. The last time I wore something without pant legs was highschool graduation...only because it wasn't optional.

There is just something about how a man's shirt fits/feels.

You do know about all the custome tailored men's shirt sites, right? I have this whole _thing_ about the horror of finding the right white shirt, especially for my aesthetic sensibility. Which is why I love these sites, but they are always like "wait, wait... really?" "Yes, trust me."

lol. I did not know about the 'thing' I'm kinda freaky about my shirts. I need to get back into the habit of ironing again.

I cannot wait for my little shopping spree this summer. I need so many new dress shirts.

*pokes head in* Custom tailored men's shirts?

As in, custom for real custom?

Like, I could have a shirt that would fit me?

I can't dress like a man. there's an eleven-inch difference between my bust and my ribcage. It looks stupid when I try to squash things down. I used to dress up in men's clothes all the time as a young adolescent-- my father had no sons, and someone had to go to military reenactments with him, but I really did look pretty funny in Civil War garb-- I was a C cup even then. Not subtle.

... But there are people that custom-make clothes any more, for real???

For real.
Lots of people do.

This ranges from stuff like my custom Snape coat I got from Kambriel.com and the Regency men's suit I had made to my measurements by Satin Shadow to things like the folks at eShakti.com, which do hand made to costum measurements Indian and Indian-influenced clothes.

For men's shirts, I like garytailor.com and executivetailor.com and dream of being able to afford http://www.listerouge-paris.com/
