Apparently LJ has decided not to communicae with LJ users because that would reward bad behavior.

y'know, even if boycotts/mass migration don't work, that's not really the point, at least for me. It's their company, within certain very broad limits, they can do what they like with it.

I just don't have to play along.

As far as I know, mass migration might have contributed to the fall of Blogger. At least, until Google snatched it up.

I seem to recall reading about some mass migration stuff when googling for LJ mass migration things back in Spring '07.
