Yup. Basically the heirarchy of this little thing will be Jenny, then Ianto, then Jack. But Jenny in her own hilarious giggly way has that same menace the Doctor has with "don't you think she looks tired?"
Also, it's got both current Jack and future Jack (not at the same time) and Ianto and Jenny being all couple-y (for parts of it anyway). And then the Doctor shows up. And is APPALLED. It's like a D/s version of French farce in space and time.
I guess we'll have to actually see 11 in action before knowing how to write him, hm?
You know, I kind of really love this fandom. Anything is possible, plot and pairing-wise. We had a convo in our rpg the other day about how awesome it was that we could go from slash to het to femmslash without anybody blinking, where a lot of fandoms and writers and rpgs are pretty divided along one line.
Very true. One of the reasons we're doing this one is Jenny an opportunity to write a dominant woman who isn't a bitch or an icequeen or reliant on props and accoutrements. And not a lot of fandoms hand you that. Also we think someone really needs to yell at Jack and Ianto about their bullshit.
Yes! I love this about it. It is one of the main reasons I don't understand shipwars in the fandom. Like, it is so cool to have a fandom where you literally can make a case for almost anything, and really WITHOUT negating any of the others.
It is my platonic ideal as far as that goes. (Thank you, Jack! + actually every character has a sexual gradient rather than a binary orientation)
