I swear to god, this man uses more emoticons and exclamation points than any 5 self-respecting academics--or writers--I know. Which is not to denigrate either form of punctuation, but seriously, whatever happened to using them sensibly?

I'm using the punctuation to distract myself. Holy shit that is awful. I wish, though, that I could be surprised; at this point very little would surprise me out of this dude.
