It's a good thing we don't live in a democracy, then. We live in a constitutional democracy. Which means it doesn't matter what 51% of the people want if their whim violates the basic rights we are afforded by the Constitution. I assume you'd like to do away with the Constitution and live under simple majority rule. Good luck with that.
