So we have this router.
we got it hooke dup, and I'm, obviously, online.

When I log into the router it says Megan is logged into it too, but from her computer, despite saying she has an excellent signal, she cna't go anywhere. The troubleshooting guide seems to indicate she has tird party firewall software installed, but if she does she has no idea what (her Macaffee stuff is expired).

So what the hell are we looking for to get her online. The router, if it matters is a Belkin G.
If anyone has the need to see me looking like a drunk lunatic, my poster is up in the window of the Whole Foods on 24th and 7th in NYC.
There are so many news stories today I want to talk about, and very little time for it.

Scientists reported today that it is unlikely Titan supports life. I care here, not because of general space geekery, but my funny thing about Gattaca that makes Titan matter to me. Also the Huygens probe's data came back while I was in Sydney, at the Powerhouse Museum, actually, and it was one of many moments of random tears down there when the clean crisp voice of information kept coming over the loud speaker telling us we could go to the auditorium to get live reports.

Meanwhile, South Africa has declared that its constitution necessarily makes gay marriage legal and that the legislature must change all laws to reflect this within one year. Wow, could the U.S. look more like assholes now? I mean, there aren't even words. Like we thought the Spain thing made us look crazy. Hello, South Africa!

It's the gay gay gay movie year -- Breakfast on Pluto, Brokeback Mountain and now Transamerica. I'm really interested to see some interviews with the actress and to see with what agression the various performers involved with all these films tout their gender norms/identities in the wake of these films. I don't mean to diss on the performers, especially from what I've seen and heard -- the performances are all stellar, but somewhere in the PR machine there's always that moment of the "look, I'm straight!" round of TV interviews. Actresses of the world, you are not heroes for playing ugly. Actors of the world, you are not heroes for playing gay. Thank you.
